Roca’s Nu collection, designed by Studio Inma Bermúdez, has received the “Best in The Bathroom” award from the 2023 Monocle Design Awards. Recognizing both the aesthetic and innovative qualities of the Nu faucets, the Monocle jury noted the collection’s novel and streamlined design.

The Nu collection includes three different handles – pin, dome and striped – which can be combined in a choice of six colours. It’s ultra-thin handle, Roca’s thinnest to date, avoids unnecessary material waste and helps gain counter space, thus cleverly blending ingenuity, sustainability and quality.

For over 15 years, Monocle Magazine has been a leading editorial platform for global design in all its forms – from industrial design to hospitality. This year marks the third annual Monocle Design Awards, an initiative that seeks to “celebrate the best in design across the world.” The awards bestow 50 individual prizes for talents from six continents, spanning 25 countries and includes diverse categories from best typeface to vehicle design. Monocle states, “Good design involves people and projects that improve quality of life. Monocle Design Awards aim to celebrate and build on this approach, with the prizes highlighting how enjoyable, beautiful and practical design can enhance our homes, offices and cities – an issue that Monocle believes is of global importance.”
