Designed by Barcelona-based multidisciplinary design studio, misterio.studio, Roca's conceptual stand showcased the company's steadfast dedication to attaining carbon neutrality by 2045. Embodying a circular vision, the stand was built using a combination of recycled materials and of certified origins, along with waste sourced from our own factories. Furthermore, we ensured that all materials employed in the stand's creation would be either repurposed in other spaces or appropriately recycled. 

Roca’s stand also included a vertical garden, consisting of more than 200 plants. This living green wall played a vital role in minimizing and neutralizing emissions generated during the construction process. In addition to its environmental benefits, the garden provided an engaging experience for visitors, allowing them to pick a plant to take home and create their own personal oasis. The construction’s carbon footprint will be further offset through several We Are Water Foundation projects. 

Roca is fully dedicated to its environmental responsibilities, exemplified by our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality for our direct emissions by 2045. In pursuit of this goal, we have partnered with the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative, which sets science-based emission reduction targets and promotes climate action within the private sector. 

Roca’s climatic oasis at Construmat 2023, served as a tangible representation of the company’s ongoing efforts in fostering a sustainable future, while creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors to actively participate in and connect with the company’s initiatives aimed at realizing this objective.
